DIR-842 :: Rev. Cx :: FW v3.13B09_HotFix :: CVE-2020-8962 Stack Buffer Overflow

Overview

On January 15, 2020, a 3rd party security researcher team submitted a report accusing the DIR-842 Hardware Revision C using firmware v3.13B09_HotFix of a Stack Buffer Overflow vulnerability.  This vulnerability was assigned CVE-2020-8962 from MITRE.  The Vulnerability was confirmed and a patch was issued too close the issue.  Please find the beta/hotfix release below
