DAP-2695 : H/W Rev Ax : F/W v1.11: DDoS Attack Vulnerability

Overview

On February 10, 2021, a 3rd party security researcher submitted a report accusing the DAP-2695  using firmware v1.11 of a DD0S attack vulnerability The Vulnerability was confirmed and a patch was issued too close the reported issue.  Please find the beta/hotfix release below.

                  The 3rd Party found an DDoS bug that is related to the devices http server. Some routers use customized mathpod as httpd. In some Implementations some functions are deleted during customization, such as ``cleanup_connections``. This function was used to clear timeout connections, without this function, attacker could construct DoS payloads to disable http services.
