(non-US) DIR-816 :: Rev. Ax :: F/W v1.01CNB04 :: CNVD-C-2021-222463 :: Command injection

Overview

On August 31, 2021, a 3rd party security research team accused the (non-US) DIR-816 of a command injection vulnerability. This vulnerability was confirmed and a patch was issued too close the reported issue.  Please find the beta/hotfix release below.

                Exploit 1: HTTP  request  parameter  is  used  in  the  handler  function  of  /goform/form2userconfig.cgi  route,  which can  construct the user  name string to delete the user  function. This can lead  to command injection through shell metacharacters. This exploit may be used to escalated attack vector and compromise device.
