(non-US) DIR-853/ET :: Rev. A3 :: F/W vET853PNP-1.06-B72D24 & Below :: Web-Confirguration LAN-Side Credential Bypass

Overview

On February 9, 2021, a 3rd party security research team accused the (non-US) DIR-853/ET of a security issue which allowed malicious users to bypass the devices web-configuration authentication without credentials. This vulnerability was confirmed and a patch was issued too close the reported issue.
